The Colors Of Fall

Oh the colors of fall are some of my favorite colors. In this blog I will be sharing the colors I have seen through the projection and I will also be sharing my favorite color trends. The thing about projecting colors is yes, most of the time they are the most popular or the most in seasons. However, I truly believe that when it comes to colors it should be what your heart is drawn too, so my goal for this blog is to inspire you and to help you become more creative.

Timeless Fall Colors:

Orange, Green & Neutrals

These colors and their family colors will always show up during the fall season & we can always count on that. This is helpful when you are buying home decor items, clothing pieces and anything that you will use only during the fall each year. I like to call these the timeless colors. We know without a shadow of a doubt that these colors will always find their way & honestly if we need more convincing that the hunter green jacket is a must have then just know you can always pull it back out each fall.

Projected Colors:

Navy, Mustard & Maroon

Yes, in my eyes these colors are timeless colors. However, there have been some years, where one or more of these colors outshined the others. So that is why we are allowing them to fall under the projected colors. These colors are great transition colors when you are going from fall into winter. You will find these colors more at the end of a season then you will at the beginning.

Trendy Colors:

Soft/Light Pink, Turquoise/Light Blue, Soft/Light Grey

This category is my all time favorite. & this year soft or light pink is making a breakthrough. This shade of pink has always found itself during the Christmas/winter season, however this year it is making a breakthrough into fall. I have honestly never been a big pink fan, but even I am all about this one. Trendy colors are tailored to be more of where your creativity is. These are colors that pop up every now and then, but they are also colors that you are drawn to that connect with the more timeless and projected colors. These colors also usually find themselves in both fall and winter, but like I said they are tailored more around your creativity.

My friend when it comes to colors do not stick to the norm. Enjoy and be creative. You might find yourself (like me) loving and only buying timeless pieces, then add more trendy or projected colors into your background. & you know what? That is ok. That is why they are called trends and projected colors, because you ultimately get to decide which colors speak to your creativity. If you are wanting to add more fall to your images then look to see what colors will be in your background and dress towards that & remember, “If you cannot change the color in your outfit, change the color in your background. & if you cannot change the colors in your background then change the colors in your outfit.” I have also linked my favorite blog, “How To Give Your Photos All The Fall Vibes.” & like always need help or have questions let me know.

Happy Fall Y’all.
