I am a Portrait & Branding photographer. My passion is people, but I also believe in people and where they are at in live. My business is broken up into parts. My portraits include; graduating seniors, small families and couples. My branding photography gives me the ability to stay near to my passion, along with using my degree in Agriculture Communications, to help others in the creative fields of marking and branding them or their businesses. My branding includes; Product Photography, Lifestyle Headshots & Marketing Content. The last side of my business is the SHOP … this is where you will find all the fun things. These are all the things that bring me the most joy. I have never been drawn to just one thing & instead of boxing my self up I decided it was time to share all the things!
I have not always been an entrepreneur, in fact I figured I wouldn’t be working for my self until I was a mom & to be honest that wasn’t going to be for another handful of years. So, 2 years after graduating college I am sitting in a corporate job, not feeling fulfilled or living my purpose. However, sitting behind a desk absolutely miserable wasn’t were this calling started. The Lord laid working for myself on my heart months before graduating and I chose to keep living the way I thought my life should go. I could have saved myself so much heart break, but I am so grateful for the lessons that were involved. So, I quickly put my two weeks in, moved towns and got straight to work. Fast forward 5 years & now I am not just a business owner, I am also now a wife and dog mom.
MY BUSINESS IS SO IMPORTANT TO ME, BUT HELPING OTHERS CHASE THEIR DREAMS IS WHERE MY HEARTS FEELS MOST ALIVE.
Like I said, I was totally in control of how I thought I was supposed to live my life, but the Lord had other beautiful plans that truly make so much more sense now. So, if you would have told me 10 years ago I would be where I am now I would have told you that was way too soon. I truly believe the minute we were created the Lord also created our plan and our purpose. We all have different purposes, but some could look very similar. I say as you grow in your purpose build a longer table not a taller one.
