TOP 5 FAVORITE EDITING APPS

We all love apps that make our life so much easier or even help us be creative. These apps are truly the apps that make my personal/business even more creative. Each of them have their own use and are handy in many different ways when it comes to using them on the computer, tablet and iPhone.

I do use most of these apps on all three of my devices. However, some of them are just for the mobile device. So, let’s get to diving into my favorite apps!

Lightroom Mobile

Free on tablet and mobile

This one is hands down the one I use them most on all three devices. Whether it is just Lightroom Mobile or Lightroom on the desktop this is truly one of my favorites. This app is where I edit all my photos. Lightroom on the desktop for my camera photos and Lightroom Mobile for all my personal photos. This app is also the app I use when creating a preset to sell or for a project. It is easy to use and truly allows you to be the creator.

PS Express

Free on tablet and mobile

PS is a short word for Photoshop. PS Express is the mobile app for photoshop, but it can also be used on most tablets. However, just Photoshop is available on your desktop and it is also available in the desktop version on some of the newer tablets. Photoshop on the desktop is the very first editing platform I used. This is where I build all my graphics, take away from a photo or fix anything else that cannot be done in Lightroom. PS Express does most of what regular photoshop does. It allows you to put text over your images and that is one of my favorite features.

If you are looking to purchase the full Lightroom and Photoshop programs. There is a bundle deal that if you get both of these you will receive them both around $11/month.

Rush

Starter plan is available to anyone with a free Creative Cloud membership

This is a new one for me, but so far I am loving it. I know Rush is available across all three tablets, but there might be a small fee and I believe that fee is around $11/month. But Rush is the newest video app & what I love most about Rush is that if I make a video on my desktop then that same video will be on the mobile rush and the tablet rush. You can edit any video as far as cutting up the video and even changing the display of the video. You can actually bring your Lightroom presets into rush. That is by far my favorite feature.

Unfold

Free, but has in purchase

This app I only use on my mobile device. Unfold is built to help you create stories/posts for instagram. It is meant to help you build a story that truly does Unfold. I love this app, because it is truly so clean and keeps you organized. I use this app most with my instagram stories and I love that I can see what stories I have already created. Unfold has a lot of different backgrounds and creative ways you can show your story … & watch it unfold. I totally recommend trying it out if you have not already.

Vsco

Free, but has in purchase

This one is truly so much fun and gets your mind out of it’s creative box. Vsco is another image editing app. The edits are so creative and add a flare to your images. I love to use Vsco when I want to get out of my creative box and do things differently. Even though I do not use this app for my personal or business images. I do like to use this app to be creative and 100% support it when editing your images. Some of the edits are free, while some of them you do have to pay for. Vsco also has a huge Pinterest following and if you even want to be inspired by their edits then type “Vsco Edits” into Pinterest. This will tell you the name as well as what kind of edits they used after putting the edit on your image.

All of these apps are going to take a little digging to find what works best for you. Each of them offer something different to help you be creative and achieve the overall look for your brand or business, but also for your personal life. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do and feel inspired and creative.
