How To Keep Your Brand Cohesive … with photos.

One of the biggest questions I get as far as branding photos is … “How do you keep your photo cohesive?”

So, let's chat about a few ways we can do just that.

Using a Preset.

A preset is the perfect way to keep your colors cohesive and your images in the same style. Now, each image will be unique, but a preset is great to keep certain colors the same. For Example: regardless of what day you shoot or what time your presets will keep your greens in the same family tone. Or the blues, reds or even magenta colors in the same family.

Being Consistent with the colors in your background.

If you cannot change the outfit colors then try changing your background. If you want to stick with more light and airy then look at possibly using lighter backgrounds, versus backgrounds that have rich shadows in them.

Being Consistent with the colors in your outfits.

Let’s say your brand is centered on what you actually put out there. Then maybe stick to outfits that you can control the colors. If you lean towards more neutrals and more modern then maybe don’t add neon in your outfit. Unless you are wanting to add pops of colors here and there.

Prepare, Prepare, Prepare!

My friend I cannot stress this enough. Prepare! & most definitely Plan! If you want something to be cohesive then you are going to want to put in the work that will be in the back end. Anything good is worth working for.

Friend, I want to leave you with this …

If you cannot change your background, change your outfit & if you cannot change your outfit, then change your background. Being cohesive takes time and it most definitely takes effort.
