Color Is HUGE!

Party Favor

Colors are the perfect way to keep your feed cohesive. It truly allows your viewers to have a natural flow when they are going from one image to the next. The thing is you might not always be able to choose the colors of your items, but you can choose the color of the background. Then vise versa; you might not always be able to choose the color of your background, but you can choose the color in the items you are wearing.

If you look at “My Feed” that I have provided in the resource area, you can see that the main color source is; white, green, blue and purple. That is because those colors not only complete my layout and help me stay cohesive, but they also show off my brand.

For example, do you see the image of my in a white room with my leg in the air? I am wearing all black in that image, but I needed to add in some blue, so I went ahead and added a blue button down to bring my brand into the image.

It is little things like that, that will help you show off what your lifestyle is, but also keeping your feed cohesive.

Another example: My cousin was asking me how to keep her feed more cohesive. Her style and the style of her house has more desert vibes, lots of natural tones, blacks, whites and pops of greens from the cactus. I told her to be mindful of what colors she is showing off in her feed and to even be mindful of the clothes she buys. In fact, when I am shopping for clothes I tend to stick to the colors of my brand, so it is easier to stay cohesive.

Be mindful of the colors you are showing in your images. & remember you might not be able to change the color of the item, but you can change the background and that is important. Also, you might not be able to change the color of the background, but you can change the color of the item you are wearing. & if you need help getting the colors to adjust more to your style use a preset to help, but if you are going to use a preset to alter the colors make sure your customers know that the color of the product is different in real life. & on your website you can add a second image that can be unedited to show the real color.
